Isolation
When I step away from the keyboard and think about it, what I do is extraordinarily complicated, difficult, and overwhelming. There are countless things to be done, and I have to either do them myself quickly or delegate them well. Different kinds of pressure come from both inside and outside.
Perhaps I have managed to keep doing it because I know how to forget everything around me. Started as a necessity, turned into a habit, now an ingrained ability. If I tried to care about every single thing, I would not be able to do anything at all. Some might say I am oblivious to the people around me. But I have never seen anyone who talks that way accomplish anything great.
Identify what matters - focus on the work itself. Let its own logic and organic movement take over, and ride that flow with my body and mind.
Then, as I keep moving with it, one thing is finished. And then another...
